Amount of the old-age pension
The amount of the old-age pension is determined based on the contribution period and the authoritative average annual income. The old-age pension is inflation and salary-adjusted by the Federal Council on a regular basis.
If both spouses are entitled to a pension, the sum of both pensions may be no more than 150% of the maximum old-age pension. Please see the leaflet 3.01 - OASI old-age pensions and helplessness allowances for current amounts.
