How much do I receive?

The allowance amounts to 80% of the average earned income before the birth (limited by minimum and maximum allowances).

During the first 98 days, the maternity benefit is deducted from the allowance. Full entitlement exists from the 99th day.

If the employer continues to pay at least 80% of the salary during the entitlement period, the maternity benefit will be paid to him or her.
