Disability pension (DI)
What are the conditions for a DI pension?
(Insured) Persons who are partially or completely unfit for work or unable to perform their current job due to a disability are entitled to disability insurance (DI) benefits. This disability must have existed for at least one year.
Entitlement to an ordinary pension only exists if at least three full contribution years can be credited to the insured person when the disability occurs.
The pension entitlement shall exist at the earliest six months after the DI application date.
